Summer's Over

We'll as most of you know Summer is offically over. The school year has started and alot of exciting things are beginning to happen in the Impact Student Ministry. In the month of September we have great events that we want you to be a part of.

September 13th we are traveling to a Baylor Football Game. We will leave the church around 8:30, go to a concert and then to the game. The cost is $15 per ticket which includes your admission to the concert and to the game

September 16th- We are hosting FCA at our church. You can come hang out with us, eat free food and hear a great message by one of our staff in the youth department. We start around 7pm

September 24th - See You at the Pole. This is a nation wide event where students like yourself gather around the flag pole at school and pray at 7:30 in the morning. At 6:30 we are having a See You at the Pole Rally here at FBC Youth Room. We will have free pizza and drinks. Hope to see you here

September 27th- This will be a great night of fun as we meet the J.O.Y. (Just over youth) group for some exciting and challenging games. This starts at 6:30 p.m.

Hey! Glad you Stopped by to Visit

We have an exciting youth ministry at First Baptist Church Copperas Cove. My desire is to reach students with the life changing message of Christ by teaching them the truth of Scripture, one verse at a time. We have many opportunities for you to get involved.

Throughout the year we meet on Sunday mornings for Sunday connection (9:45am)and Wednesday nights "The Link" (6:15). Sunday mornings is an indepth Bible study as we teach the truth of God's word and how to apply it to your life. On Wednesday night we desire to help you connect with the most important link in your life and that is a relationship with Christ. We discuss the tough topics that are facing today's teenagers and help them to come away with a Biblical understanding of how to handle today's issues.

I hope that when you come to visit you will feel welcomed. We have a great group of teenagers who are hoping to see you here. Come, hang and find out what is happening in our student ministry.
